Father, we thank-You that You have made provision in all areas of our lives, physically, mentally, emotionally, for good and for bad, for worship and for war; nothing has been omitted, or overlooked. Thank-You, Heavenly Father, that Your people can take comfort in knowing that: “You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield” (Ps.5:12).  What an amazingly awesome God You are!

Teach Your people through this how to war with Your Word. Teach Your people to connect the dots from Your Word in the Old Testament to Your Word in the New Testament. Teach Your people about the unchanging nature of Your WORD, YOUR TRUTH, YOUR PRINCIPLES. Societies & cultural practices may change, but thank-You, Lord, that because You are unchanging we need not be concerned because of not knowing what You’re expectations of us are. We can know that regardless of social changes, Your desire for Your people to live by Your standards does not change.

Thank-You, Holy Father, for Your shield of protection. Thank-You that You have not left us defenceless against the Enemy, but instead have equipped us with the appropriate tools. Make us now, to use them, to apply them in accordance with Your directions.

Thank-You that Your Word provides us with many clear directions. May Your people familiarize themselves with Your Word that they will be able to wield the Sword of the Spirit against the Enemy of our souls, instead of aiming their weapons against people.

Grant Your people discernment and wisdom that they may recognize the true Enemy and replace conflict in relationships with the Sword of the Spirit, recognizing that “we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” & thus address those wrong spirits that work through those individuals, comparable to David’s “enemies.”

May each one pursue further direction through Your Holy Word, I pray, in Jesus/Yeshua’s Name. Amen.
