Father, strengthen our faith for these times of persecution, for if we are not in them yet, they will surely beset us all very soon.

I thank You, Heavenly Father, that we who are Yours can TRUST, and KNOW that You are always with us no matter what the situation may be. Even while enduring seasons of testing, we are still under Your protective shield, and You will cover us, for Your goal is not to kill us, but to sift, sand, prune, polish, and transform us through these storms, trials, deserts, wilderness, or whatever form they may take.

Thank-You, Lord, for we are the clay, & YOU are the Potter; therefore we submit to Your transforming, perfecting, refining Hand, preparing us for Your Heavenly Kingdom. We eagerly submit, because as Paul asserts: “For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ” (2 Cor.11:2);  “and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless”  (Eph.5:27).

Surely, we must delight in being the BRIDE of MESSIAH! Thank-You, Heavenly Father, that Your Will is for us to surrender and trust, depending on You for the outcome. Thank-You, Lord, that all we need do is cry out to You, and You will hear us; that once we quit spinning our wheels with our own foolish efforts and release it all to You in total and absolute surrender & trust, then we will have peace, we can even lay down and sleep for You will sustain us.

Thank-You, Heavenly Father, that we need not fear, for You are in charge; You are at the helm, unless, of course, we try to handle it ourselves; and if we do that, may Your Holy Spirit remind us to surrender it all to YOU, to nail that weakness to the Cross, and to bring our own thoughts into submission/captivity, aligning them with Yours.

Remind us in our moments of weakness, that if we will just let go of the need to either escape the test, or attempt to manipulate/do whatever we think should be done, that You will bring the best outcome, for “Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah!”

I pray for these things in the Name of Your Son, Jesus/Yeshua. Amen.
