PRAYER GUIDE, PSALM 119:33-56, 06.02.20

Teach me Your statutes, Oh Lord, and I will observe them to the end.

Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your law; Indeed, I shall observe it with my whole heart. Make me walk in the path of Your commandments, For I delight in them.

Incline my heart to Your testimonies, and cause me to turn away from covetousness. Turn my eyes away from secular, carnal, worthless things, which I no longer need in my life. I want only those things which are of You.

Revive me in Your way. Establish me fully in Your word, for I want to be entirely devoted to You/to fearing only You. I welcome Your judgments, and long for Your precepts. Revive me in Your righteousness.

Let Your mercies come also to me, O Lord—For I trust in Your word. I will keep Your law continually, and abide by Your ordinances, for I seek Your precepts. I seek full understanding of all Your ways, laws, and desires.

I will give testimony and will not be ashamed. I will delight myself in Your commandments, which I love. I will lift up my hands to Your commandments, and I will meditate on Your statutes.

Remember the word to Your servant, upon which You have caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction, for Your word has given me life.

There are those who hold me in great derision, Yet I do not turn aside from Your law. I remembered Your judgments of old, O Lord, and have comforted myself.

Indignation has taken hold of me Because of the wicked, who forsake Your law. Your statutes have become my songs in the process of my pilgrimage.

I remember Your name in the night, O Lord, and I keep Your laws and Your precepts.

Make me to walk in Your Ways, Your Will, and Your Word, more fully with each passing day. In Jesus/Yeshua’s Holy Name, I pray. Amen.
