ROMANS 13:10

ROMANS 13:10
Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

PAUL HAD BEEN TEACHING HIS PEOPLE ABOUT SUBMITTING TO GOVERNMENT LEADERS, ETC. THEN HE WENT ON TO TALK ABOUT THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD.

SUMMARIZING THEM IN THIS VERSE, STATING THAT “LOVE IS THE FULFILLMENT OF THE LAW,” BASICALLY REITERATES WHAT JESUS/YESHUA SAID IN MATTHEW 22:36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” 37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”  PAUL HAD SIMPLY RESTATED WHAT JESUS/YESHUA HAD SAID.

THIS ALSO ANSWERS, SO SIMPLY, THE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION ABOUT WHETHER GOD’S LAWS ARE STILL REQUIRED OF US. IT’S SO SIMPLE, REALLY.

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FULFILL THE LAW WITHOUT A LOVING HEART. AND IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO TRULY “LOVE” AND NOT FULFILL THE LAW.

LET US WALK IN LOVE TOWARDS ONE ANOTHER, TOWARDS ALL HUMANKIND.
