JOB 5:8,9

JOB 5:8,9 8 “But as for me, I would seek God, And to God I would commit my cause— 9 Who does great things, and unsearchable, Marvelous things without number.

ELIPHAZ MAKES THIS DECLARATION IN HIS LECTURE TO JOB. HE IS CHASTISING AND ADMONISHING JOB WITH IMPLICATIONS OF BLAME.

ELIPHAZ MAY BE IN ERROR IN HIS JUDGMENT OF JOB; HOWEVER, HIS STATEMENT IN ITSELF IS CORRECT.

CERTAINLY WE ARE WELL-ADVISED TO SEEK GOD, AND TO COMMIT WHATEVER WE ARE UNDERTAKING TO HIS WILL.

IT IS BECAUSE GOD DOES GREAT THINGS, UNSEARCHABLE, MARVELOUS THINGS, OF WHICH WE OURSELVES ARE NOT CAPABLE, THAT WE SHOULD TRUST AND SURRENDER ALL TO HIM. MAY WE LEARN TO TRUST AND SURRENDER MORE EACH DAY.
