ELECTION PRAYER, JUSTICE, 29.09.19
Father, I thank You for Andrew Sheer. I thank You that we have a man of integrity running for leadership in this nation who is capable and whom we can trust and rely on to run our country.
Thank You that he has recently announced his plan to form a National Energy Corridor, a most needed and beneficial provision for all of Canada. I pray for a resurgence of our oil and gas to be promoted, transported, utilized for our own people, and globally exported. I pray for a greater degree of self-sufficiency within our nation, that we would develop, promote, and utilize our own resources more fully; that we would maximize our ability to provide for our own use and expand our exports abroad.
I thank You, also for Mr. Sheer’s call for unity in this nation; to all work together for the good of the entire nation, not merely for specified interest groups. Lord, Your Word makes it clear that it is Your Heart’s desire for Your people to live in harmony and in a state of unity (Jesus/Yeshua’s prayer in the Garden/John 17 calls for unity/oneness). I pray this could be realized in this nation of Canada.
I pray, too, that with a Prime Minister whose heart is for unity, divisions between East/West would be dissolved; that divisions and discriminatory policies on the basis of social status, race, colour, religion, or other interests, that these categories that the Enemy uses to create strife and division would be eradicated, for just as You love all humankind and make provision for all Your creatures, creation, and mankind, it is on this principle that You would have us operate. Just as You want justice – “For the Lord is a God of justice” (Isa.30:18) – so are we to put just practices into place.
Bring justice and mercy for all (Jer.9:24) through Andrew Sheer’s leadership, I pray. So let us get rid of dividing walls that cause injustices to any particular group of people, and cause us to treat all our fellow humans as we would each like to be treated (Lk.6:31)ourselves, with consideration, kindness, dignity and respect, regardless of whether we agree on all things. Teach us, Lord, to love our neighbour as ourselves (Lev.19:18;Matt.22:39).
God BLESS Andrew Sheer; BLESS our people with the election outcome that is for the good of all.
In Jesus/Yeshua Messiah’s Holy Name. Amen.
