JAMES 1:13

Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.

WHEN WE ARE “TEMPTED” IT IS THE ENEMY (SATAN) WHO IS AT THE HELM. JESUS/YESHUA WAS “TEMPTED” BY SATAN WHEN HE WAS FASTING IN THE DESERT FOR 40 DAYS. HE WAS BEING PREPARED FOR HIS FULL MINISTRY WHICH BEGAN AFTER THAT.

IT IS NOT UNUSUAL FOR GOD’S PEOPLE TO BE “TESTED” IN PREPARATION FOR WHATEVER ASSIGNED WORK THE FATHER MAY HAVE FOR EACH ONE. DURING THAT TIME, SATAN WILL “TEMPT” BECAUSE HE WANTS TO BRING FAILURE, DISCOURAGEMENT, DESTRUCTION.

GIVING IN TO TEMPTATION RESULTS FROM THE WEAKNESS OF FLESH AND WILL RESULT IN SINFUL BEHAVIOUR/WRONG CHOICES. THAT IS WHY JAMES IS WARNING NOT TO BLAME ON GOD WHAT IS THE RESULT OF FLESH AND THE ENEMY’S WORK.
