Circumcise my heart, O God, of all my self-centred fleshly desires, that I will long, yearn, even faint to spend my time with YOU. Bring me to that place where I can cry out, as the Psalmist that My heart and my flesh cry out for You!”

Let me be as that sparrow who has found a home, & made a nest for herself, that I would determine to make my home in YOU, abiding/dwelling in YOU, Even Your altars, O Lord of hosts, My King and my God.”

Oh, Father, I am so blessed to dwell in Your house; that You dwell within me by Your Spirit; “I in You, & You in me,” as Jesus/Yeshua says in John 14/15. Let me be ever more grateful, & praise You as You deserve to be praised.

I am so blessed that I do not have to depend on my own strength; that I can find my strength in You, and thus can set my heart to walk with You. My pilgrimage is not without a trustworthy guide.

As I pass through the Valley of Baca, of testing, weeping, and adversity, it becomes a water spring for me, as pools filled with fresh rain. Because I am resting in You, I can go from strength to strength. I am blessed even in the valleys & deserts in my life, because it is YOU Who are not only with me, but carrying me through. Thank-You, Heavenly Father, that You are my shield, YOU ARE my STRENGTH, & I can rely on YOU. And therefore, I CAN say that “a day in Your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness” partaking in the lusts of this world.

Thank-You, Father, that You are my sun and my shield; You provide all grace and glory, and do not withhold blessings from me as long as I walk in uprightness. I am so blessed when I put my trust in You! Thank-You, Holy Father for how good You are to me.

In Jesus/Yeshua’s Name. Amen.
