19.07.19, PRAYING PASSAGES, GOING DEEPER

THE FOLLOWING PASSAGES WILL BE APPLIED IN PRAYER, A PRAYER DESIGNED, ON THE BASIS OF GOD’S WORD, TO TAKE US DEEPER.

MY OWN PERSONAL DAILY CRY, IS “FATHER, BRING ME HIGHER & CLOSER, & TAKE ME DEEPER – DEEPER INTO YOU!”

READ/STUDY/MEDITATE ON THE FOLLOWING PASSAGES:

Col. 3:1-3,5,8-10

COLOSSIANS 3:1-3
1 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.
2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.
3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

1  If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God.

2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

5 Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.

8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.

9 Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds,

10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him

Rom. 6:6,7.11-14

6 . . .   our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.

7 For he who has died has been freed from sin.

11 . . . reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.

13 And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

14 For sin shall not have dominion over you

Rom. 7:18

18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells

Gal.5:16,22,23,25

16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control.

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Lk. 9:23

23 Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.

James 4:10

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
