I THESSALONIANS 5:14

Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all.

PAUL IS INSTRUCTING BELIEVERS TO UPHOLD ONE ANOTHER IN ALL THEY DO; TO WATCH OVER ONE ANOTHER; TO HONOUR THOSE WHO ARE TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR TEACHING, LEADING, ETC. AND TO LOOK AFTER THOSE WITH NEEDS; AND TO LIVE IN HARMONY WITH ONE ANOTHER.

BELIEVERS SHOULD FORM A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY FOR ONE ANOTHER.

WHEN SOMEONE IS CREATING CONFLICT, GOING ASTRAY, OR BEHAVING INAPPROPRIATELY IN ANY WAY, THERE IS A CALL TO DISCIPLINE.  THAT WAYWARD ONE NEEDS TO BE RESTORED. WHEN SOMEONE IS HURTING, NEEDS HEALING, OR ENCOURAGEMENT, THAT SHOULD BE ATTENDED TO.

WHATEVER THE NEED, IT REQUIRES DOING; THAT IS WHAT THE BODY OF BELIEVERS IS CALLED TO.

WHETHER IT ALL WORKS THAT SMOOTHLY & CONSISTENTLY IS ANOTHER MATTER; BUT STILL WE MUST AIM FOR THE IDEAL.
