JOB 27:6

My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go;
My heart shall not reproach me as long as I live.

JOB IS DEFENDING HIMSELF, AFTER HAVING RECEIVED SOME RATHER CONDEMNATIONAL, JUDGMENTAL, SCATHING REMARKS FROM BILDAD & HIS FRIENDS, UNDER THE GUISE OF HELPFULNESS.

HE MAKES VERY CLEAR THAT HE HAS NOT DONE ANYTHING WRONG. HE HAS MAINTAINED HIS INTEGRITY, & HE WILL MAINTAIN HIS INTEGRITY, FOR HE HAS NOT CAST GOD ASIDE, EVEN IN THE FACE OF HIS DIRE SITUATION; NOR HAS HE BEEN A HYPOCRITE LIKE HIS FRIENDS, WHO ARE JUDGING HIM ON THE BASIS OF THEIR OWN INADEQUACIES AND ERRONEOUS ASSUMPTIONS.

JUST LIKE JOB, IF WE KNOW OUR HEARTS ARE RIGHT BEFORE GOD, OUR HEARTS WILL NOT CONDEMN US. WE CAN HOLD FAST & MAINTAIN OUR INTEGRITY WHEN WE HOLD ONTO GOD IN THE MIDST OF ADVERSITY; IN THE MIDST OF THE STORMS OF LIFE. AND THAT IS WHAT WE NEED TO DO. JOB IS A GOOD EXAMPLE/MODEL FOR US ALL.
