Father, I am so grateful that You are my Shepherd. Thank-You, Lord God, Holy Father, for how You make provision for all my needs, financial, mental, emotional, physically, materially. You are my EVERYTHING! You’re all I need; and You’re all I want. What an awesome God You are!

I am ever-grateful for the ways You quiet my soul, for how You bring me to a place of calm and stillness, having me to “lie down in green pastures, and experience the still waters” (which for me is often just being still before You, as well as walking in the beauty of Your creation). Spending that quiet time with You leads me to pure undefiled intimacy; it cannot do otherwise but quiet my soul. It absolutely “restores my soul.” There is nothing like it!

Thank-You, Heavenly Father, that You get me back on track, and “lead me in paths of righteousness,” where I re-focus on You, and get my walk in line with Your will. When You get me back to those “paths of righteousness,” I am walking in the Spirit, and thus fully able to bring You glory by being in the midst of Your will, where “for You name’s sake,” You have purposed me to be.

Even if/when I have “walked through the valley of the shadow of death, I need fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” Yes, in those times, when I have been brought low, through Your correction line, often because of my disobedience, having strayed from You, having chosen to do things my way, still, even then, I can see where You were so with me, even when at the time I may not have realized Your presence, but yes, You were there, protecting, defending, guiding me through it, getting me to the other side, until finally I saw the Light, and walked with You, in-step with You, once again. I need Your Hand of discipline/correction; I need Your guidance and direction always. May You never leave me to my own devices. Thank-You, Holy Father.

Thank-You, Heavenly Father for Jesus/Yeshua said “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:2,3). Thank-You, that even in the face of the Enemy’s attacks against me, “You prepare a table before me . . . .” You fill my heart with love, joy, and peace (“You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over”); and it is thus so clear to me that “goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life” (You are looking after me in all situations, no matter what happens, I am in Your Hands); “And (I can know that) I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.”

Feeling so humbled, so grateful . . …  Thank-You, Abba, in Jesus/Yeshua’s Name. Amen.
