FEATURING AMY ROSE ART, https://www.facebook.com/amyroseart/

Father, bring us to that place of peace, harmony, onenessunity within the body of Messiah.

Forgive us for occasions of striving, jealousy, competing with one another when we should be working as a team, together (1 Cor.1:11,12 ). Forgive us for getting involved in power struggles, striving over petty, carnal issues (1 Cor.1:13,14;3:4,5; James 4:1,2) which are so insignificant in the bigger picture. Make us to let go of

these fleshly patterns & nail these responses to the Cross of Christ.

I pray we would all be of one mind, one heart and one Spirit – the Holy Spirit – walking in YOUR love, treating each other with “tender compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience— bearing with one another and forgiving each other, if anyone has a grievance against another. Just as the Lord pardoned each of us, so also we would pardon others. But above all these things, we would put on love, the bond of perfect harmony. Let the shalom of Messiah rule in our hearts—to this shalom we were surely called in one body. May we be thankful; and let the word of Messiah dwell in us richly, teaching and admonishing one to another with all wisdom in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with gratitude in our hearts to God” (Col.3:12-16; paraphrased for prayer).

Make us to “walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which we have been called— with complete humility and gentleness, with patience, putting up with one another in love, making every effort to keep the unity . . . .” (Eph.4:1-3).

Let us remember that we each are flawed, imperfect human beings; and grant us, by Your grace and mercy, the ability to let go of each others’ shortcomings without laying blame or judgment, criticism or accusations. May we “all speak the same thing and not divide over non-essential issues, but be united in the same mind and in the same purpose” (Col.1:10, paraphrased), through Your Word. Let us not get into our flesh and begin arguing over minor differences of opinion regarding interpretations and which leader or teaching is more correct than another (1 Cor.1 and 3; James 4), etc. Let Your Word be our measuring stick/plumbline (Titus 3:9-11), and focus on You/Your Word. Let us not fall into such error as what will require discipline (1 Cor.4:21).

Motivate each one of us in the body of Messiah to put our house in order, taking charge of essential duties, and devoting ourselves to prayer and to the service of the Word (Acts 6:1-4). Gift us with the ability to always attain to peaceful solutions to whatever irritating situations arise, so we can make decisions quickly, easily, and peacefully, maintaining unity in the body.

In Jesus/Yeshua’s Holy Name. Amen.
