PRAYER GUIDE, “NEITHER JEW NOR GENTILE . . .”  16.05.19

Father, inflict Your people, for once and for all time, with a conviction of Truth on this matter. And forgive us for having made denominational divisions on the basis of our flawed thinking.

Make it become real; bring it each one’s comprehension that we “are all ONE in MESSIAH” (Gal.3:28); and that upon belonging to You, we become  “true children of Abraham . . . heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to” us(Gal.3:28,29). By the power of that shared Spirit in Your people, bring this reality to life, and put an end to the ongoing disputes, confusion, strife and division on this matter.

And let us be thankful, Lord, that in Your sight we have equal status. You make no discrimination regarding how and in what way You may employ any individual whether male/female, Jew/Gentile, Black/White, or different nationality. Let us be grateful that we still maintain our male/female distinguishing qualities, and characteristics, while coming before You on an equal playing field. Let us be grateful, that rich/poor/social status makes no impression on You. Thank-You, Father, that in Your eyes, all are of equal value, and will be treated in the same way, subject to all the same ordinances, expectations, blessings, to the same “house rules,” just as in any family. Thank-You that we can each still maintain our own unique personalities, qualities, and characteristics, and we each have our own unique individual ways which You will put to use.

Make us now to “work out our salvation with fear and trembling (Phil.2:12); and to walk in it, doing/living it out/applying that which we know and understand and have been taught (Eph.4:17; Col.2:6), for if we say we abide in You, we “ought to walk in the same manner as He walked (1 John 2:6). Bring Your people into active agreement on these beliefs that we all give verbal expression to believing in.

Make us now, to all be of one mind, just as Jesus/Yeshua prayed in the Garden (John 17:11,21). Bring Your people to that place of perfect harmony and unity, for “we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit” (1 Cor.12:12,13), for which we should be ever so grateful.

In Jesus/Yeshua’s Name. Amen.
