Let us come to that place where nothing else matters but seeking Him with ALL our hearts, souls and minds, and wills just as the Psalmist did when he prayed: “With my whole heart have I sought You . . .  with all my heart I keep Your precepts” (Ps.119:10, 69).

Make us to hunger and thirst for You, Father, just “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God” (Ps.42:2,3). Let us come and drink from the abundance of Your House  . . . . from the river of Your delights. For with You is the fountain of life” (Ps.36:9,10; TLV). Bring us to that place where we always want more of You. Make us to “Consider it all joy when we encounter various trials,  knowing that the testing of our faith produces endurance.  And let endurance have its perfect work, so that we may be perfected, our faith  complete, lacking in nothing” (James 1:2-4), for nothing must come between our desire for You, our desire to serve, and live for You/Kingdom, and it is only through such testing that we become increasingly useful vessels, able to serve You in whatever way You desire.

Bring us to that place where we will humble ourselves in Your sight in order for You to lift us up (James 4:10), where we are ready, from the heart, to see ourselves as Your slaves, Your servants,(James 1:1; Phil.1:1; 2 Pet.1:1) and ambassadors. Instead of seeking our own pleasures, let us live to serve, and to please You, “for we are not our own, but have been bought with a price . . .” (1 Cor.6:19,20); and when our true desire is  “to know Him, the only true God, and Yeshua the Messiah, the One You sent” (John 17:3,4), all our needs will be looked after and everything will fall into place, just as Jesus/Yeshua assures His disciples when He says:  “not to worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matt.6:34), “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” (Matt.6:33).

Make us willing and able to surrender our will to Yours, that all our expectations of having a plan, a blueprint would be demolished; that instead of wasting our time asking what is Your will; what is Your plan, we would be ready to just abandon all our own hopes, ideas, dreams, and expectations, and follow just as Jesus/Yeshua when He said: “the Son cannot do anything by Himself. He can do only what He sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise” (John 5:19,20) – i.e., whatever You point to, whatever You show us, that is what we must be ready to do. Bring us to that place of realization and acceptance that Kingdom work is unscheduled, unpredictable, and Kingdom workers must be ever-ready for the “call” of the Master. Make us to remember, Yeshua said: “No one who has put his hand to the plow and looked back is fit for the kingdom of God”(Lk.9:62); and “He who loves father or mother more than Me isn’t worthy of Me, and he who loves son or daughter more than Me isn’t worthy of Me” (Matt.10:37). “Foxes have dens and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head” (Matt.8:20). We make that commitment, Lord, to be ready to leave all behind, if necessary; to be ready to take on whatever it is . .  . where you lead us we will follow . ..

Thank-You, Holy Father, that when we put You first; when our true heart’s desire is set on You, we will “taste and see that the Lord is good; for Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! . . . .  There is no want to those who fear You” (Ps.34:8,9). We will be “abundantly satisfied with the fullness of Your house, for You will give us to drink from the river of Your pleasures. For with You is the fountain of life” (Ps.36:8,9).

Thank-You, Heavenly Father, that all we need do is put all our TRUST & FAITH, in You, truly walk in that place of ongoing trust, faith, surrender, and we will taste of Your goodness, DAILY. And we pray all these things in the Name of Your Most Worthy Son, Jesus/Yeshua. Amen.
