without HIM we can do NOTHING that counts  . . ..

Father, I want to incorporate You in all the corners and pockets of my life that I have not even thought about as an area where I could somehow include or involve You.

I want Your Name to be affiliated with everything I think, speak and do. I want to be increasingly aware of Your Presence not only in every  physical place I go, but in the mental exercises of my work world, in conversations with others; I want to be so aware of Your Presence that I do not miss an opportunity to share about my relationship with You. I want to be so present to You that I will not miss a message You may have for me.

Let me no longer bring worthless, empty offerings to You (Isa.11:13), but only those which come from the Heart, for You want us to “worship You in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23,24),  “For You delight in loyalty and not sacrifice, knowledge of God more than burnt offerings”(Hos.6:6). Give me the heart of passion as Miriam/Mary (Lk.10:38-42), that my priority would become worshipping at Your feet. I want my walk to be a walk of worship by incorporating You into every facet of my life.

Forgive me for all the ways I have failed entirely in the area of true worship, being either religious, and legalistic/ritualistic about it, or just not having my heart in it, thinking about other things while pretending to be worshipping You. Forgive me for failing to live a lifestyle that honours You; and I want to change that now. I want my life to be worship. Open my eyes to see You in everything I encounter, see, and do, including people I meet. I want to see You in every situation, good or bad.

Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, with Your Presence, oh Lord, that I may carry Your fragrance into every situation, just like when Mary/Miriam opened that bottle of expensive perfume, and “the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil” (John 12:3). For “You Are Home To Me;” (Jason Upton, lyrics/music available, https://www.musixmatch.com/lyrics/Jason-Upton/Home-to-Me) ;

May we be that fragrance

– You are where I have come from, and where I am going, “For We All Have Left The Garden, and we’ll all return again . …” (Lyrics from “Søng of Jesus,” https://www.allthelyrics.com/lyrics/jason_upton-the_song_of_jesus). Just like everything, it is cyclical; our spiritual beginnings and our lives come full circle, back to where we began. . ..  May this become more real to me every day, I pray. Make me to “abide in You” (John 15:4-5) more fully, that I may produce fruit, through worshipping You. In Jesus/Yeshua’s Name, I pray. Amen.
