PRAYER GUIDE, “WHAT ABOUT POLITICAL CORRECTNESS? PART 1,” 03.01.19
Father forgive me for getting caught up in any form of political correctness.
Give me the boldness to walk as You walked while on the earth, just like when You overturned the tables (Matt.21:12,13) in righteous anger. Make me to focus on the things of the Kingdom, and not the things that humans consider so important.
Lord, just as the disciples had trouble recognizing the Father when You were right there representing Him, sometimes I lose sight of You. Make me able to hold onto the Truth and the realness of You/Your Presence, (John 14:9-11)and never lose sight of You. Forgive me for each occasion where this has occurred. Convict of those times that I’m not aware of and grant me discernment in future times that I will not slip into that lack of awareness, I pray. I want to be strengthened in my approach so that I will not grieve Your Heart (Matt.16:8-11), and cause You to be frustrated and impatient with me. And let me not open doors to the Enemy/wrong spirit (Mk.8:33) to work through me against what You want for me or for me to do, or against others.
May I not bring myself under Your judgment because I become lukewarm, politically correct, and lose my focus on You. NO! I want to be focussed on speaking the Truth, proclaiming in boldness to others that: “You are the way, the truth, and the life, & no one comes to the Father, but by You” (John 14:6). Just as You were not politically correct when You said: “because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to spew you out of My mouth” (Rev.3:16), let me be equally politically INcorrect, in Your Holy & precious Name. Amen.
