Father, I pray tonight for all those who are alone and lonely during this holiday season, and who find themselves depressed and feeling sorry for themselves. I pray that You would provoke them to seek You, for they will “seek for You, and they will find You, when they shall search for You with all their heart” (Jer. 29:13). And You “will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You” (Isa.26:3).

Send Your Holy Spirit to incite each one to seek You in that manner that will bring them closer and closer into intimate relationship with You, so they will experience Your awesome love and presence. Cause them to open the doors of their hearts to You, to cry out to You in their desperation (Ps.130:1,2). Make them to turn to You in their time of loneliness and affliction (Ps. 25:16,17), and discover that when they “Draw near to You, You will draw near to them,” (James 4:8), for all we have to do is  “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened” (Matt.7:7,8); and “Behold, You stand at the door and knock. Whoever hears Your voice and opens the door, You will come in and dine” (Rev.3:20).

Thank-You, Holy Father, Lord Jesus/Yeshua, that there is no need to ever feel alone, for even when “my father and my mother forsake me, Adonai will take me in (Ps.27:10). When everyone else lets us down, disappoints, abandons, persecutes, rejects, You are there, just waiting for us to reach out to You, and we can “Cast all your worries on You, for You care for us”(1 Peter 5:7).

We can come to You when we “are weary and burdened, and You will give you rest” (Matt.11:28). Thank-You, Holy Spirit, that we can always access the Father through You, and experience His amazing, loving Presence and know we are never alone.

Thank-You, Lord Jesus/Yeshua Messiah, that You left us with Your supernatural peace, Your comforter, our very best friend (John 14:27). Thank-You, that “in our distress when we turn to You and seek You, You are right there”(2 Chron.15:4).

Thank-You, Father, that we are never alone, for “You will never leave us or forsake us” (Heb.13:5); and “The beloved of Adonai rest securely between Your shoulders. You hold us all through the day and the night” (Deut.33:12).

I pray once more, for each individual feeling alone through this season, that they would “lift up their eyes to the mountains and see where their help comes from – from You, Maker of heaven and earth”(Ps. 121:1,2). And by Your Holy Spirit, make them “Turn to You, so You can be gracious to them, in their lonely and afflicted state. Bring them out of their distress, for the troubles of their heart has  increased” (Ps. 25:16,17).  “Out of the depths” let them “cry to You, Adonai! And You will hear their voice!” (Ps.130:1,2). Let them “call on You, and You will answer us and even show them great and mighty things which they do not know” (Jer.33:3).

I pray in Jesus/Yeshua’s Name. Amen.
