I pray, Father, for all those who are following my STUDY CORNER, that each will make  a commitment to study Your Word daily, faithfully, and consistently in the coming year, and walk in it, that it will become a part of daily life, a lifestyle, not just a short-term venture.

Teach each one how to walk in Your Word. Enable each one to discover that your faith will be strengthened, your relationship with the Lord so much more intimate, and thus your identity in Christ so much more secure, when you begin to put His Word into your hearts. I pray for each one, that all remaining doubts will be washed away by the Word. They will each become more secure, and grounded in their understanding of who they are in Christ Yeshua.

Just as Yeshua, may each one begin to depend on hearing from You, Lord; and like You, desire to:  “do nothing from the self; but as the Father shows, may each speak that which is given, and do only those things that please the Father” (John 8:28,29). My prayer for each is that just as You, Yeshua said that: “the Son cannot do anything by Himself. He can do only what He sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son does likewise” (John 5:19), this is what Your Holy Spirit will guide them to do. Just as You, Yeshua attended to the Father so You could do as He did, likewise may each one follow You, and thus follow Him, for we “can do nothing on our own. . . . . . and not seek our own will, but the will of  the Father” (John 5:30).

I pray for each of my followers of Study Corner, to put to death the flesh that gets in the way of this walk; to give it over; give it up; get over it; get beyond the desire to do things their own way. May Your Word (Heb.4:12) be “a lamp to their feet and a light to their path” (Ps.119:105). Make them to “pray about everything – In all things, by prayer and supplication, make your requests known unto God . . .” (Phil.4:6-8). Make them to live by Your Word, for “All Scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for restoration, and for training in righteousness, so that the person belonging to God may be capable, fully equipped for every good deed” (2 Tim. 3:16,17); and “whatever was written before was written for our instruction, so that through patience and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope” (Rom.15:4).

Teach each one to walk in the Spirit, not in the flesh (Gal.5:14; Gal.5:16,25). This is Your will for us, to live out You Word, Will, and Ways, which cannot possibly be done except by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Let this be a daily and lifelong commitment, not a mere “New Year’s Resolution.”  And may each be re-filled with the Spirit daily (Eph.5:18). In Jesus/Yeshua’s Name. Amen.
